Accessibility Statement

Our commitment

Moss Men wants everyone to be able to use this website, whatever their ability and however they browse. We have built this site to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at level AA, and to meet our duties under the Equality Act 2010.

What we have done

• Every page uses proper HTML landmarks, a single main heading and a logical heading order, so screen readers can navigate the structure.
• The whole site can be operated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus outline on every interactive element and a skip to content link at the top of each page.
• Text contrast meets or exceeds the 4.5 to 1 ratio required at level AA, and larger text meets 3 to 1.
• Every image carries descriptive alternative text, and decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology.
• Form fields have visible labels tied to the input, errors are described in text rather than by colour alone, and the form tells you clearly what went wrong and how to fix it.
• Animation and movement respect the reduced motion setting in your operating system.
• The cookie banner receives focus when it opens, can be operated entirely by keyboard, does not trap focus and is announced to screen readers.
• Text can be resized to 200 per cent without loss of content or function, and the layout reflows down to a 320 pixel wide viewport.

Known limitations

Some documents or photographs supplied by third parties may not carry full descriptions. If you come across anything that is difficult to use, we want to hear about it so we can fix it.
